Brings to the attention of all hospital authorities the series of publications by the Department containing statistical information about the patients discharged from Scottish hospitals apart form those discharged from mental hospitals and from maternity units. This information is derived from the new scheme of morbidity recording introduced into the Scottish hospital service as from 1 January 1961. The scheme was outlined in SHM no 60/66.
