Diversity Task Force
- Recognising, valuing and celebrating diversity in the workforce as well as in society at large is a priority for
the Scottish Government Health Directorate and NHSScotland (NHSS), the Diversity Task Force (DTF) exists to provide
strategic leadership to NHSScotland Managers and to act as an enabler to facilitate the necessary culture change at
every level within NHSScotland.
The work of the Diversity Task Force is now being taken forward by the Mutuality,

Equalities and Planning Directorate - NHS Health Scotland
The Equalities and Planning Directorate within NHS Health Scotland was put in place in 2008 to help NHS Scotland deliver
real change, eliminate discrimination and promote equality. It combines and builds on the work of what were previously
six separate NHS Fair for All Projects, providing support to NHS Boards with their work on delivering gender, age, lesbian,
gay, bisexual, transgender, religion, disability and race equality.
